Specializing in aviation from the beginning of the First World War to the end of the Golden Age, Early Days Biplanes aims to preserve and illuminate the feats of yesteryear’s pilots and aeroplanes. This we intend to do by taking photographs, writing articles, collecting books and magazines, and displaying it all on our media platforms for you to see and share the same passion we have for these special pilots and aircraft. With this project, we intend to spread this appreciation and awareness of our foreflyers amongst the aviation community and ensure the feats and skills of these magnificent aviators are never forgotten.

I'm Carson Hawkins, the founder of Early Days Biplanes. Aviation history has been a part of my life since before I could walk and by the time I could drive a car by myself, I had already soloed an aircraft. I became a flight instructor while still a teenager and was fortunate enough to instruct in tailwheel and aerobatic aircraft for the majority of my logbook entries.
These accomplishments are absolutely nothing in comparison to the adventures of aviation's pioneers. It is the goal of this project to ensure that their achievements and aeronautical prowess are never forgotten, and that what we consider as above average now is almost certainly well below average to them.
